4/2023 – 06/2023 - Graphics Designer Peniel Essentials

• At Peniel Essentials, a local company specializing in products for women with natural, type 4C hair, I collaborated closely with the owner, Hannah, to develop and implement a strategic graphic design plan for the company. My role included creating engaging social media flyers and packaging that helped to increase brand awareness and sales by 15% and also helped us connect strongly with our audience online. Additionally, I used my skills to create a visually appealing and practical packaging to enhance the product's physical appeal. I also dealt with content creation, breathing life into the brand, and making it relatable across various platforms. This role enhanced my design skills, reinforced my dedication to prioritizing customers' needs, and solidified my ability to utilize design as a powerful business tool. 

03/2022 – 04/2023 - Graphics Designer Freelance

•  In my freelance tenure, I provided graphic design services to a variety of clients, including small businesses, startups, and nonprofit organizations. My work focused on developing and executing creative concepts, such as designing logos, brochures, and social media graphics, that aligned with client objectives and resonated with targeted audiences. I created visually appealing and memorable brand identities that helped them stand out from the competition. Throughout, I demonstrated a strong ability to adapt to diverse client needs and meet deadlines, even in the face of unexpected challenges, by managing multiple projects simultaneously and overcoming obstacles efficiently. 

 04/2019 – 03/2020 - Graphic and Web Designer Ellixar Technologies 

• At Ellixar Technologies, a forward-thinking tech firm, my role brought together a multitude of skill sets. I was responsible for graphic design, logo creation, and website design, as well as curating and creating engaging content. In addition, I adeptly handled social media marketing operations, content research, and editing. I assisted in designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites, demonstrating a strong understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles. This experience was profoundly enriched by my boss and mentor, Ian Kahiga, who instilled in me a broad range of professional skills. His invaluable teachings have endowed me with a versatile skill set that I continue to utilize and improve upon today
