Project: Volunteered at Kenyatta National Hospital 

Responsibilities:

 1. Biomedical waste management.

2. Pest control strategies within and outside the hospital.

3. Occupational health and safety matters in and outside the hospital.

4.  Monitoring and evaluation on infection prevention and control standards within the different departments of the hospital.

5. Conducted food inspections in the hospital kitchen and conducted routine inspections of water quality.

6. Provided basic first aids to patients at the Accidents and Emergency section.

7. Carried out Ebola sensitization of the health workers. Ebola specimen collection and transportation. Donning and doffing of Ebola PPEs.

8. Wrote recommendations on the inspected premises in the hospital and departments for safety measures where applicable.
