- Generating interest in a publication and ensuring its target audience knows it exists via 
advertising, promotion, and sending samples out to key contacts.
- Planning campaigns and producing promotional materials.
- Attend conferences and book fairs to sell books. 
- Carrying out market research to gauge demand for products.

- Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits.
- Demonstrating and presenting products.
- Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
- Reviewing sales performance.
