Currently, I am the Commercial Director at Sky Garden where I am in charge of building processes to scale the commercial department as I drive up the companies GMV. I also serve as the partnerships lead to our Tier one partners. Most previously, I was the Head of sales where I was charge of leading end to end Sales plans to ensure business objective are met (Onboard as many merchants to the platform and Make sure they make their first sale Soonest)

Building partner portfolio, creating business opportunities with existing partners while actively onboarding new strategic partners and creating collaborations. Leading the overall commercial team to grow, help them hit their targets, hire top talent and generally helping them develop as professionals. Coordinate and Manage commercial OKR's together with the Marketing and Operations department. Helping and guiding the team negotiate difficult commercial agreements with both our Tier one partners and our small partners. Guide the commercial team in order to achieve Month on Month sales targets while maintaining good relationships with our partners.

 Head Of Sales May 2016 - Jul 2021 Sky Garden Sky.Garden (5 years 3 months)-------I am responsible in Identification, recruitment and training of new merchants into the Sky Garden platform. I have extensively worked on relationship building and maintenance with the recruited merchants both SME's and Enterprise merchants. Key Account management of our tier one merchants on the Mobile phones & Consumer electronics category. I was actively involved in the push to growth of merchant base of the over 10,000 merchants we currently have on the platform Doing trainings to the merchants on e-commerce best practices and taking them through different sky garden tools to enable them increase their visibility and sales on the platform.

 Sales Executive Nov 2014 - Feb 2016 Midcom Group I was responsible for sales of Nokia and Fero phones to wholesalers in Helped grow the distribution network to Satellite towns of Kiambu and Thika Creating and maintaining customer relationships to ensure continued flow of orders Worked closely with the nokia team in ensuring shops are branded and product visibility in all their shops and partner shops in the mount Kenya Region. Consultant Apr 2012 - Aug 2012 United Nations Office Worked in the Mail. Pouch & Archives unit. Working closely with global courier partners (DHL) in ensuring mails/pouches were routed correctly to the right offices and owners. Worked in the archives unit handling storage of the mails and setting up a system responsible for easy tracking.
