About Emmah Wambui:
I have two years administrative assistant experience to executive at a level-6 Hospital.
I have over six years banking experience across various departments.
Experience
I am currently an administrative assistant to the Chief Operating Officer, Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital. In my current role I assist in establishing collaborative operational relationships with all Directors to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery this will enable me in maintaining work relationships.
I also assist in overseeing the security department by ensuring that all its resources are well planned for to support timely and quality service delivery in the hospital. This will guide me in supervising activities concerned with office and grounds maintenance, security, transport and similar services in your organization.
I also provide administrative support within office. This will allow me provide advice and ensure administrative support as required in your organization.
In my previous role as an administrative assistant to the Director Nursing Services I would handle all personnel matters ensuring optimal distribution of staff within various units, maintaining of up to date licences for nursing staff, issuance of colour coded badges. This experience will enable me handle all personnel matters related to attendance records leave, issuance of visas, licences, etc.
I am also responsible for preparing correspondences, reports, minutes and action matrixes for the office. This will play a huge part in enabling me to prepares correspondence, special reports, evaluations and justifications as required on general administrative matters.
My previous roles in the financial sector enabled me cross functional competencies such as computer user skills.
I also possess observational and analytical skills, financial analysis skills, sales and marketing, inter-personal skills that enable me relate well with clients, portfolio and budget management. I am also very assertive and self-driven and a person of high integrity.
In all my roles I am used to interacting with both internal and external clients, be it Directors, patients, relatives, customers which will be crucial in your organization stake holder management.
