I am a Kenya based strategic communicator and content editor.

For over 15 years, I worked with Nation Media Group and The Standard Media Group, two of East and Central Africa’s most influential media companies, most of which I gathered an extensive knowledge of African affairs in a way that can't taught in school.

I am a firm believer in the power of storytelling to help people understand complex issues and issues that are relevant to them.

I am also an avid follower of digital and creative industries trends.

I spent over 15 years at the Nation Media Group and Standard Media Group, among the top media houses in east and central Africa, as a content producer and editor, rising to the position of an editor on the Africa and Digital division of NMG.

I also have years of communication and talent management both at the Media Mechanics and Tufahamu Communications, handling several client briefs.

Besides media work, I have also raised funds and sucessfully managed funded projects.

I hold a Bachelor of Education degree (Linguistics and Literature), an MA in International Relations and several media trainings by reputable organisations and professionals.
