As an Accountant and Finance Assistant, my  responsibilities 

1. Bookkeeping & Data Entry

• Recording daily financial transactions (income, expenses, invoices, payments)
• Ensuring accuracy in financial records and reconciling discrepancies

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments
• Issuing invoices to clients and following up on outstanding payments
• Managing expense reimbursements

3. Bank Reconciliations

• Comparing bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy
• Identifying and resolving any discrepancies

4. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Assisting in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports
• Generating reports for management to aid in decision-making
• Tracking budgets and variances

5. Payroll & Tax Compliance

• Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring employee payments are accurate
• Handling tax filings, VAT/GST calculations, and other regulatory compliance

6. Supporting Audits & Internal Controls

• Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations

7. Administrative & Other Tasks

• Maintaining financial records and documentation
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Coordinating with other departments for financial matters

As an accountant and finance assistant I have experience of which have managed to work on two companies ,at Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority and Euroexim bank as an accountant consultant in remote area .

My most relevant education is my bachelor's degree in Accounts and finance and my Diploma.Am still persuing my CPA.
