Experience

  • Accounting skills: Skilled in handling general accounting principles such as reconciliations, the general ledger and balancing of accounts, petty cash management and handling the cash book.
  • Financial reports:Skilled in the preparation of Statement of Comprehensive Income, Balance sheet, Trial balance, Cash flow statements and P&L reports within agreed timescales.
  • Tax and Statutory Returns: Experienced in carrying out payroll management and filling of KRA returns on I tax platform for and on behalf of clients.
  • Payroll and Statutory Deductions: Well versed in various taxes (VAT, income tax and withholding) with knowledge in the preparation of statutory payments i.e. PAYE, NSSF, NHIF and payroll management.
  • Budget Preparation: Adept with the skill set of handling budget preparations that involves; receiving the budget estimates and examining them for completeness, carrying out budget planning and consolidating the data for budget presentation.
  • Communications and Interpersonal skills: Direct verbal and written communication with regard to obtaining information, building teamwork and resolving issues. Ability to present complex information in an easy way to follow and comprehend.
  • ICT Competency: Proficient in word processing, Spreadsheet, Quick books, Excel, competent in Microsoft Office Application suite, the internet and emails.
  • Financial skills:  Acquired knowledge and experienced in preparation of annual budget, termly budgetsheading the procurement committee, financial accounting and finance reporting.
