I am a graduate of The University of Nairobi with a BSc in food science and technology. I am passionate about areas of food safety and quality assurance, and innovation in the food industry with the aim of provision of healthier foods to combat hunger, malnutrition, post-harvest loss, and improve the efficiency of the food supply chain.

I worked as a food safety and quality assurance officer at the National cereals and produce board during my industrial attachment, I was part of a team that collected data and published a report on the state of agroecology in Trans nzoia county, I worked as a volunteer nutritionist at the Marsabit county referral hospital.
