• Preparation of  ward development plans
• Providing economic- planning data at the ward level
• Collection, computerization, collation and analysis of data relating to the CIDP process 
• Formulation of development strategies for incorporation to CIDP 
• Identification, preparation and evaluation of development projects and programmes and monitoring of their implementation 
• Drawing up survey questionnaires and setting up control procedures
