I am a caregiver/nursing assistant with formal training in disability and elderly care from the Rafa Institute of Disability & Elderly Caregiving, hands-on experience providing compassionate support to patients, and a genuine passion for improving quality of life, I am confident in my ability to make a positive difference in your care team.

‎My caregiving journey began in a deeply personal way—providing full-time home-based care for my late mother, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. This experience taught me more than clinical skills; it instilled resilience, empathy, and a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and social needs of patients and their families. I became skilled in monitoring vital signs, assisting with feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility support, medication reminders, and nutritional meal planning, all while ensuring dignity and comfort.

‎To complement my practical experience, I have completed comprehensive training in First Aid, CPR, pediatric care, geriatric care, medicinal massage, and passive/active exercises. I am well-versed in fall prevention, patient mobility assistance, and creating safe, hygienic, and welcoming living environments. I also bring strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt to diverse healthcare settings—qualities that align with the expectations of caregiving roles across Africa, Europe and the U.S.

‎What sets me apart is my combination of technical competence and heartfelt commitment. I see caregiving as more than a job—it is a ministry of service where patience, respect, and attentiveness can transform someone’s day, health, and dignity. Whether supporting elderly patients, individuals/children with disabilities, or those in palliative care, I strive to provide not just assistance, but companionship and hope.
