A driven Logistics/Purchasing Supervisor offering 8 years of experience in monitoring the flow of products for efficiency. Focused on negotiating rates with freight vendors, coordinating warehouse storage, documenting shipment status and monitoring performance to maintain efficient workflow. Accomplished in delivering goods on time through expert management of deadlines by maintaining communications with warehouse employees and freight vendors.

I have 8 years' experience in purchasing/logistics. This is spread along 6 local 5* hotels (dusitD2 Nairobi, Golden Tulip Westlands, Best Western Plus Meridian hotel, Borana Lodge in Nanyuki) in Kenya where I rose from a storekeeper to a purchasing officer. I was part of the logistics team in the just concluded FIFA World cup in Qatar where my last role was a Logistics supervisor for my cluster.

I hold a diploma in purchasing & supplies management from university of Nairobi, a certificate in Business administration & management from European business University and a certificate in hotel & Tourism management from Egerton University. Currently I am enrolled at European Business University for a certificate course in Strategic management.
