Kitale County Hospital
 I had an opportunity to have my mandatory practicum at Kitale County Hospital, where I worked 
hand in hand with patients and clients in various departments from the Gender Based Violence 
Unit, the psychiatric clinic, palliative care unit, and the hospital wards. While here, my 
interpersonal skills were bettered. I was able to handle clients from all walks of life, with different 
challenges. My listening and response skills really grew at this point.

 I worked closely with patients as part of the HIV/AIDS Testing and Counseling Services. I was 
responsible for the customer experience department, ensuring comfortability while also delivering 
the service. I managed and kept records of their personal data and assured confidentiality.
