My epidemiological skills have grown over the last three years. I served as part of the Kenya team that responded to COVID-19 in the country. I am involved in the preparation, planning, and response to health events in the country. Above all, my strength has been in data management and handling data software. This ranges from data collection software to analysis, and geo-mapping software. I have worked with Excel, Stata, ArcMap, ODK, and Power BI among other data software.

I am looking for an online job to help me build my skills and improve my current income.

I am currently a resident medical epidemiologist with nine years of experience. Six years as a Senior Medical officer; three of these years spend in leadership experience as a Medical Officer of Health. As a medical officer of health, I have interacted with different personnel involved or with interest in health of our communities and directly or indirectly with the community. This has entailedrunning programs like active case finding for Tuberculosis, Polio campaigns,

Malaria programs, Malezi bora (nutritional program), and pilot programs like Post Pregnancy Family Planning (PPIUCD) among many others.

I have had experience in keeping the health of the community at check through surveillance, improving immunization coverage, support supervision and offering support to levels of health service delivery ranging from level one (community units) up to level 4 hospitals. I have had the experience of working in primary health care with 263 community health volunteers distributed to 18 community units. This has been my passion and great desire, to work at the community level in fixing health care.
