About CHARLES KURIA:

A passionate and multi-skilled professional excelling in supply chain management, inventory management and control (current & fixed), warehouse management, procurement, warehouse management, cost controls and budgetary. In my career life, I have acquired skills in stock management, cost controls mechanisms, warehousing, conversion (repackaging) and financial management. My key experience includes: facilitating inventory budgetary and forecasts for the central warehouse and branches, controlling receiving and dispatch, stock optimization, generating and enforcement of stock handling procedures, planning and coordinating stock takes and preparing inventory reports for the board. I am seeking for a more challenging position of an Inventory lead where I believe my skills and expertise will contribute immensely to cost- saving and company growth.

  • Stock Management and Control: Experienced in purchase requisition to replenish stocks and controlling inventory levels.
  • Supply Chain Planning: Competent in timely sourcing and delivery of goods from suppliers and ensuring they get to the final consumer efficiently.
  • Warehousing: Experienced in loading and offloading, shipping and delivery, safety of stocks, stocks storage, stocks documentation and preparation of inventory audits.
  • Detailed Oriented: I pay close attention to details and capture all the valuable data in the compilation of financial reports.
  • Analytical skills: I carefully make decisions by employing analytical mind to ensure accuracy and better decisions.
  • Training and supervisory skills: Experienced in training staffs for continuous growth, staff development, motivation and leading teams.
  • Financial Management: Skilled in budgetary, revenue analysis and budget variances, preparing financial reports and monitoring the cash flows.
  • Accounting Skills: Experienced in reconciliation of working capital accounts, profit and loss, petty cash and general ledger.
  • Communication Skills: I have great skills in negotiating with key stakeholders through persuasion.
  • Property Plant & Equipment management and maintenance. 
  • Problem solving skills: offer solutions in emergency cases
  • ICT Competence: Experienced in Microsoft Office Suites and Inventory systems like Ms Dynamics, Core, Vortex and QuickBooks.
