A highly experienced Finance and Credit professional with over 13years of hands on experience in Credit and financial controls, Treasury Management & reporting, budgeting, inventory & operations management,  auditing and implementing treasury  management strategies to the highest possible standards of excellence, transparency and compliance with all internal, external regulations, accounting & financial management standards and procedures. My goal is to transfer my credit and finance skills working for the public or the private sector.

• Making recommendations to the management regarding customer accounts requiring change of policy, trading terms or special attention.
• Periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing the mix of company sales and bad debt losses.
• Resolve customer disputes and specifically overseas collections of accounts which are over 30 days.
• Provide a weekly status report on each of the customers’ balance outstanding at debtors review meeting.
• Ensure customers have received all the invoices, updated statements and all queries relating to the Customers accounts are addressed in good time. 
• Reconciling Debtors accounts and addressing reconciling items thereof.
• Ensure end month closing is done on time as stipulated by Management i.e. all allocations, provisions, write offs and revaluation are done and relevant reports prepared for management review and policy making. 
• Safeguard company’s assets in terms of customers’ balances and ensure there is no embezzlement of receivables.
