Brian Awori

My name is Brian and I currently hold the position of Senior Program Associate at Wasoko in the Strategic Business Operations department. Some of the skills and abilities that I can offer include being a team player, creative and willingness to work long hard hours under pressure in a fast paced environment which will prove indispensable in ensuring delivery of its strategy.

I am a graduate from the University of Nairobi with an MBA in Strategic Management, as well as a BSc. Computer Science from Kabarak University (second class honors upper division). I have also attained the PMP certification, as well as passed the foundation course of both Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and PRINCE 2.

I promise to work with diligence and honesty and to uphold the working standards and ethics of any organization so as to ensure end to end delivery of all of its projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Program management of various projects across multiple countries. (Stakeholder
management, Risk mitigation & Program execution)
• Search & recommended vendors suitable to deliver services for Wasoko.
• Identifying areas of improvement within the business operations.
Key achievements
• Searched, recommended & implemented a company wide modern intranet solution.
• Spearheaded a products data clean up updating product descriptions, package
descriptions, Unit of Measure & Price, across all branches in Kenya, Rwanda,
Uganda, Ivory coast, Senegal & Tanzania.
• Managing a new Head office fit out project within budget, scope & time.

I have attained a masters in Business administration from the University of Nairobi and a bachelors degree from Kabarak University

I have also attained the Project Management Professional certification as well as the Prince2 Foundation certification.
