Experience
Highly motivated and resourceful Criminology graduate with a strong passion for advancing justice and making a positive impact on society. I possess a Bachelors in Criminology and Criminal Justice along with a Diploma in Criminology and Social Order. My solid educational background, coupled with practical work experience, equips me with valuable research, legal, and organizational skills.
During my internship at the National Crime Research Centre, I actively contributed to various research projects. I conducted comprehensive literature reviews, designed and implemented research initiatives, and proficiently collected and analyzed data using statistical techniques and software. My ability to interpret research findings and prepare comprehensive reports was instrumental in disseminating critical insights to internal and external stakeholders. I am dedicated to adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining the confidentiality of research participants and data.
As a Legal Intern at Odero Okoyo & co. advocates, I honed my legal research skills, supporting attorneys in preparing persuasive legal arguments and meticulously drafting various legal documents. My exposure to court proceedings and case management helped me develop a keen eye for detail and organizational efficiency.
Additionally, my internship at Kisumu Law Courts enabled me to work closely with legal professionals, assisting in the drafting of rulings and judgments. I actively contributed to research efforts on legal practices and customs related to burials in the Luo tradition.
In my leadership roles, I've demonstrated a commitment to social causes. As a Volunteer for Pads Drive Africa, I collaborated with various organizations and individuals to raise pads for children in need, while also educating them on menstrual health and hygiene. Moreover, as a Volunteer Lead for Hidden Talent Children's Home, I organized successful food rescue charities, sourcing and donating vital resources to support underprivileged children.
My skill set encompasses proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, strong health and safety management abilities, and a keen interest in research and client relationships. I thrive in collaborative environments and value teamwork in achieving shared objectives.
