Construction Manager 2020 to date                                                            Responsible for the management of the construction site in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.                        
2.     International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) Engineering Technician – November. 2017- 30th November 2019                                                                                        Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that high standards of quality control are maintained on all contracts.
• Monitor construction and site development.
• Monitor the construction, contract progress, procedures, workmanship, schedule, overall job safety.
• Co-ordinate activities between the contractor, the consultants and ILRI
• Interpret, implement and reinforce regulatory requirements related to safety and environmental standard for the site.
• Notify ILRI, contractor, and the architect of any conditions that may delay completion of the total project or of major parts of the project
• Keep track of materials delivered to the site and used by the contractors & sub-contractors to ensure that materials used are those specified, or approved substitutes, and that materials are in good condition and free of defects.

Achievements: completion and handing over of three Bulk Milk Collection center (BMCC) works involved the building of collection blocks and installation

Construction Engineer – October 2015- October 19th 2017 As a construction Engineer my duties were as follow:-

• Support in the preparation of BQs and drawings and other tender documents as required
• Using constructions management software packages to plan smoothwork flows (Gantt Chart)or any other relevant package
• Oversee all the day-to-day construction and ensure the safety of the materials, quality of work and the adherence to original design
• Inspect and reviewproject to monitor compliance with building and safety codesand other regulations
• Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation
• Make safety inspections of site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health and safety and environment are adhered to
• Supervise the Development and rehabilitation of appropriate WASH infrastructure. First Arial water supply done in kibera for supply of water in 50 water kiosks
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of the existing structures, waters kiosks and lines

Achievements: completion and handing over of the following projects within Kenya slum (Kibera,Mathare, Mukuru Kwa Jenga  and Mombasa Bagladesh) . 8 community centers, 4 Clinics, 2 safe houses and1 school Kibera for Girls school. First Areal water piping in Kenya distributed to various kiosks within the slum.

4.Arch-Concepts Ltd.    (Architectural consultancy) Clerk of Works -Jan 2013- August 2015

Duties:

• Designing and drafting of plans and preparing detailed working drawings for approval on Architects instructions,
• Inspects and supervised work on site and verify all materials are of required quality.
• To monitor and report work progress to the project manager and client.
• To implement and interpret working drawing on actual ground
• Liaise with the Architect/Engineer on-site inspection and supervision to produce quality work.
• Preparation of bills of quantities and work estimates.

•  Achievement: completion and handing over of 3 modern fish landing sites with cold and dry storages along lake Victoria, namely Vichlum, port Victoria and Luanda Kotieno.
