Business Manager Life Sciences

Mission

Ensure the support and coordination of sales and marketing functions for his/her Market
Segment in the country/region, Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Ensure the performance of the commercial team

Main Accountabilities

1. Commercial Drive

+ Support and coordinate sales and marketing functions.

+ Coordinate with MSD strategies and principals management.

+ Steer and ensure the implementation of group initiatives regarding the

harmonization of business processes
and best practices across the relevant local Market Segment.

+ Steer the identification and development of new opportunities

+ Evaluate business growth potential (through market analysis and statistics).

+ Maintain, develop and manage a relationship network with key customers and

Principals.

+ Ensure and foster positive business communication with Principals.

+ Coordinate and supervise the preparation of local sales materials, exhibitions and

promotion programs.

2. Business effectiveness
+ Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, costs and results.
« Draw up budget
«+ Drive prices and margins policies
+ Establish performance goals and KPIs for the sales organizations and monitor
performances
« Responsibility for all A/R and A/P and Inventories.

3. People Management
+ Management of the team (training, assessment, rewarding, etc.)

Experience, Skills & Education (example)

* Abachelor’s degree in Pharma studies or similar field;

+ >5 years of experience in sales & marketing roles;

+ Ability to influence and achieve results through others;

+ Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule

+ Ability to liaise with people at all levels both internally and externally;
+ Ability to identify new opportunities and exploit them to the benefit of the company
+ Planning Skills

+ Creative Thinking

+ Analytical skills;

+ Good knowledge of English;

+ Good knowledge of IT tools.
