About Arif Amir:

I am a ICT graduate currently pursuing a second degree in Accountancy. I am highly skilled in Software Designing and Business Management. I have worked in various departments within multiple organisation hence I have acquired most of my skills through work experience. I am currently employed as a Digital Marketing Officer at a Hotel Resort in Nairobi, Kenya, moreover, I am also a self employed individual overseeing a team of junior software developers working on various small-scale software systems for commercial use.

Experience

I am currently employed as a Digital Marketing Officer at a Hotel Resort in Nairobi, Kenya, moreover, I am also a self employed individual overseeing a team of junior software developers working on various small-scale software systems for commercial use.

 

In addition, I have worked as an IT Consultant for a foreign recruitment agency in Kenya where I was involved in system maintenance and process streamlining and automation operations.

 

Furthermore, I have been involved for a short term in Data Management and Interpretation plus Logistics Management during my early professional career at Superloaf Mini Bakeries Ltd. and Hasbah Limited respectively, both located in Kisumu, Kenya.

Education

I pursued a graduate degree in Business Information Technology (BIT) at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya which I completed at the beginning of 2022.

I am currently undertaking an Accounting certification course in ACCA at Strathmore University which began on 2022 and is expected to finalized in 2025.

I have recently completed an online certificate program from Google in Digital Marketing.
