Alice Ngugi

Am passionate about nursing leadership, and education and I also coordinate a cardiac program in my current place of work.

In addition, am really interested in ensuring patients get quality and safe care offered with compassion. I would also like to create a culture of offering care that has a human touch to it.

Would also love to see nurses who are competent and confident in what they are doing by raising awareness and continuous training.

I have more than 14 years of experience in nursing practice. I started off by working as a clinical nurse in the medical-surgical department, and casualty department then later I joined the critical care units where I have been working for the last 10 years.   I was later promoted to be a nurse instructor in a critical care unit and currently am a nurse administrator and a program coordinator.

Currently am finishing a masters program, I hold a degree in nursing from Aga Khan university and a diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse.
