I am a Kenyan citizen and a holder of a BSc in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development from the Jommo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and a CQI-IRCA recognized and certified FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor.
I have additional training and experience in Food Safety, ISO standards, FSSC 22000, BRCGS (food safety), KEBS standards, Food Safety Management Systems, Operational Health & Safety (OH&S), Environmental Impact assessment/audit and fire safety.
I have worked as a Food Safety expert and team lead in quality management systems implementation; and their associated operations, and Human resource trainer in Food Safety & Hygiene both in food production, cold storage, handling and transportation.
I am also well-endowed with knowledge on agricultural production and agricultural value chains management. Having accrued the said knowledge from other practical experiences in different agricultural sub-sectors and agricultural products such as coffee, hass avocado production, sweet potato production and more recently wheat rusk manufacturing
