Issa has over ten years of experience in the practice of law in East Africa. He is also a certified investment banker. As a person, Issa is laid-back, fun, and engaging with his workmates. For hobbies, Issa plays guitar in a rock band and spends most of his free time farming land.

Experience

I have worked in the legal field for 8 years. In this time I worked in a busy medium-sized law firm as a senior associate managing litigation, and commercial law client files. 

After two years, I transitioned into the role of group legal counsel for an investment bank situated in Kenya, UK and the USA. I worked in that role for 6 years and during that time became a certified investment banker.

I now run an advisory law firm where I practice these skills and serve a wide variety of individual and corporate clients. 

Education

LL.B Juris Doctor from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

KSL Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.

Level 2 Investment Banking certificate from the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments.
