Job Title: Crypto Financial Expert

Location: Remote

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled Crypto Financial Expert to join our team at Black Pen Recruitment. As a Crypto Financial Expert, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports related to cryptocurrency transactions, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
2. Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare tax reports related to cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws (e.g., IRS, HMRC).
3. Transaction Tracking & Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile cryptocurrency transactions across various platforms (wallets, exchanges, DeFi platforms, etc.).
4. Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger for cryptocurrency holdings, including detailed records of all digital asset transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications a plus).
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years focused on cryptocurrency or digital asset accounting.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software and platforms used for crypto accounting (e.g., CoinTracker, Koinly, or similar tools).
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and crypto markets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, NFTs, etc.) is essential.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance as it applies to cryptocurrencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
