Job summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our growth efforts in Kenya. This role requires an up-and-coming leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on sales execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end B2B sales for the Power Financial Wellness platform in Kenya.
  • Personally lead and close high-value enterprise deals with employers and SACCOs
  • Consistently exceed sales targets and set the benchmark for the BD team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of closing large, complex deals in fintech, financial services, HR tech, or adjacent sectors.
  • Strong professional network across corporates, SACCOs, banks, and insurers in Kenya and ideally across Africa.
  • Deep understanding of the science of B2B sales: prospecting, consultative selling, objection handling, and deal structuring.
