- Payroll Process Analysis and Optimization
- Assess existing payroll processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to document and streamline payroll workflows.
- Implement best practices to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- System Implementation and Configuration
- Lead or support the implementation of payroll systems and related modules.
- Configure payroll systems to meet organizational needs, including tax codes, pay structures, benefits, and deductions.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Project Management
- Develop project plans for payroll system implementation and upgrades.
- Coordinate with HR, finance, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure payroll processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax laws and labor standards.
- Generate and deliver custom payroll reports and analytics for decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll-related laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Training and Support
- Train payroll staff and end-users on system functionalities and updates.
- Create user manuals, training materials, and support documentation.
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support and troubleshoot payroll issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll systems implementation, payroll processing, or a related role.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., SAP Payroll, ADP, Oracle HCM, Workday Payroll).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience in system configuration, integrations, and customizations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in payroll processing (e.g., CPP, FPC).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of global payroll processes and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
