    Comundo is a locally led organisation dedicated to promoting community-based learning and sustainable development in vulnerable communities. Our education program focuses on holistic learning and foundational literacy and numeracy skills for learners furthest behind.

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management and Innovation Specialist to strengthen our Knowledge Management and Quality Assurance systems at GRIC offices in Nairobi, Kenya.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Strengthening the integrity of information collection and analysis processes
    • Designing an effective information flow system and establishing a knowledge hub
    • Assisting in making sense of information and introducing new KM tools
    • Making information accessible to the wider constituency
    • Documenting Best Practices of GRIC education work

    Your Profile

    To succeed in this role, you will require:

    • Solid qualifications in education, education management, knowledge management, or quality assurance
    • Practical experience in Knowledge Management, Quality Assurance, and monitoring
    • Strong data analytics skills, including qualitative and quantitative methods
    • An understanding of information flow processes from input to presentation
    • A keen eye for detail and ability to utilize information for decision-making
    • Familiarity with project management tools, education methodologies, and best practices
    • Substantial computer literacy and excellent command of English language

    Requirements

    To be considered for this position, please ensure you meet the following requirements:

    • At least 2 years of professional experience
    • Residence in Switzerland or Germany
    • Good physical and mental health
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • High social competence and intercultural sensitivity
    • Will to live a modest lifestyle
    • Willingness to collaborate and participate in awareness and fundraising activities
