    Description

    Job Title: Account Manager

    We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Account Manager to join our team in Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PR and events management, with the ability to effectively manage client briefs from execution to day-to-day implementation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • PR Duties:

      • Develop and implement PR plans for clients, creating innovative campaign concepts and outreach strategies that produce engaging results.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with media and bloggers to secure high-quality media coverage for clients.
      • Produce well-written press materials, client correspondence, reporting documents, agency and client blog posts, and other integrated marketing materials.
      • Contribute to the development and implementation of social media marketing plans.

    • Events Management Duties:

      • Develop event strategies that generate quality leads for clients, managing various events from concept creation to production.
      • Identify, secure, and manage suppliers for events with excellence.
      • Prepare and manage all event communications to ensure a high-quality experience before, during, and after the event.
      • Perform administrative duties related to the position.

    Requirements:

    • Excellent media relations skills.
    • A keen eye for detail, creativity, and self-motivation.
    • Extensive experience in planning and executing events.
    • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
    • At least 4 years of post-college experience in PR/marketing agencies.
    • Media savvy.
    • A bachelor's degree is required.
