Role Title: Senior Property Manager

Role Overview

As our property portfolio continues to expand, we are strengthening our team with experienced professionals who are ready to lead, innovate, and deliver excellence. We are currently recruiting a Senior Property Manager to join our Nairobi team and play a key role in driving operational performance, stakeholder value, and strategic growth across our commercial portfolio.

Core Duties

  • Professionally Manage Property in line with Professional standards.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management.
  • Undertaking Fixed and CPI reviews on tenancies.
  • Debt and Income Collection.
  • Lease Management and Lease Renewal.
  • Ensure high standards in Property Maintenance.
  • Stakeholders Management.
  • Compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Liaising with and acting as the main point of contact for tenants, occupiers and contractors on maintenance issues and organising timely repairs.

In this role, you will…

  • successfully, manage, lead and develop the property management team at Newpoint , ensuring thorough staff understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
  • develop and maintain strong relationships with the property owner, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
  • effectively mentor and manage Newpoint's team to reach overall organizational goals.
  • successfully assist in establishing and maintaining strategic relations with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • successfully expanding the business base through regular contact with key clients and prospective clients.
  • effectively manage your day and can anticipate challenges and respond accordingly.
  • maintain existing clients while continually expanding the business base through regular contact with key clients

What You'll Bring

  • 5 - 8 years of progressive experience managing commercial real estate.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or related field
  • Must possess a valid real estate license. (ISK, EARB, RICS)
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with high degree of professionalism and experience managing staff.
  • Must have strong experience with real estate software.
  • Previous exposure with institutional clients
  • Strong understanding of financial reports, basic business fundamentals, including P&L management.

Bonus Skills And Experience

  • Industry specific certification
  • Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short and long-term strategies
  • Demonstrate accountability with budget and capital expense.
