Description

Institutional Centre for Reproductive Health is seeking a highly skilled HIV Prevention and Care Specialist to spearhead our DREAMS/ASRH program.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the SPS Coordinator in adopting a data-driven approach to resolving SPS-level challenges affecting the DREAMS and ASRH programs.

About the Role:

• Provide technical support to the SPS Coordinator in adopting a data-driven approach
• Assist in conducting assessments (including SIMS) and supportive supervision of DREAMS and ASRH programs
• Support the Coordinator in conducting skills audits and coordinating training of healthcare workers on DREAMS and ASRH programs
• Coordinate and participate in monthly meetings for USAID-funded and non-USAID-funded partners supporting the DREAMS response
• Submit timely, accurate, and quality reports on all program activities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Registered General Nurse or equivalent
• Certificate in Rapid HIV Testing and Counselling is a must
• At least two years of managing HIV interventions in the public health sector or NGO sector
• Registration with the Nurses Council of Kenya and Tanzania
• Research License to practice as a nurse in Kenya and Tanzania
• Sound knowledge and experience in M&E are an added advantage
