    At BlankRI Coded (A partner to Billion Events E.A), we are building the digital future of Africa - creating solutions in code for Africa and the world.

    We're looking for a passionate, young Mobile Developer (Flutter) who is excited about transforming beautiful designs into responsive, high-performance mobile applications. You will contribute to building and maintaining seamless mobile interfaces based on established UI designs, ensuring every interaction feels intuitive and fluid.

    This role is ideal for emerging developers with foundational experience in Flutter, with a strong focus on modern visuals, smooth animations, and performance optimization. Working closely with backend teams, you will help deliver consistent, scalable, and impactful user experiences across platforms. 

    Responsibilities
    • Implement cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, bringing pre-existing UI designs to life with native-like performance.
    • Create reusable widgets and packages to facilitate efficient development and support experimentation.
    • Incorporate animations and visual enhancements for a modern feel, leveraging built-in Flutter animations or libraries like Rive or Lottie.
    • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs and manage data flow effectively.
    • Optimize apps for performance, scalability, and compatibility across iOS and Android devices.
    • Ensure code quality via testing, peer reviews, and following Flutter best practices.
    • Identify and resolve bugs, while suggesting improvements to the mobile development stack.



    Requirements

    • Entry-level experience in mobile development, with practical exposure to Flutter through personal projects, apps, or academic work.
    • Solid grasp of Dart programming, along with Flutter's widget system and material/Cupertino design principles for styling.
    • Experience with state management solutions like Provider, Getx.
    • Familiarity with REST APIs and JWT.
    • Knowledge of testing tools such as Flutter's built-in testing framework.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities, debugging skills, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
    • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Code magic or GitLab CI).
