Purpose of the RoleThe Sales Manager will be key in driving business growth by generating and converting leads, maximizing revenue, and establishing a high-performing sales team.
This role requires a leader not a follower, who is ready to take charge, build scalable systems from scratch, and set the foundation for sustainable success.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify new business opportunities and create innovative strategies to capture market share and increase revenue generation
Collaborate with the management to align sales strategies with the company's vision.
Leverage a strong digital presence to attract and retain local and international clients.
Adapt quickly to the startup's evolving needs, ensuring processes are agile and fit for purpose.
Represent the company in high-stakes negotiations and strategic partnerships.
Provide training and development to equip the team with skills necessary for success in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Requirements
At least 5 years of sales experience, including 2+ years in a senior management role.
Experience working in a startup or similarly dynamic environment is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in building and scaling sales teams and systems from scratch.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in using CRM and sales automation tools to streamline operations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup.
