Zachary Ochieng

A highly motivated and hardworking person capable of undertaking challenging jobs. A team player with good organizational, leadership, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills able to meet set targets with very minimal supervision. I am a person with a first rate understanding of information, Knowledge and ICT skills and a high degree of integrity and honesty who can deliver under pressure. I am a Bachelor of Information Science (ICT Option) degree graduate and a member of the Kenya Library Association (KLA) membership No. 22160052. I also graduated from University of Nairobi with a Diploma in Information science (Credit). I hold a Masters of Information & Knowledge management degree from the JKUAT. I currently work with Kenya Revenue Authority as an Assistant Manager – Knowledge Management Strategy and Programs, spearheading the Knowledge management awareness, creation, sharing and most importantly, Knowledge Retention & Transfer, capturing and sharing lessons learnt from various projects, implementing expert locator to locate experts, Implement Communities of Practice framework and programme, Appointment and training of Knowledge Management Champions (KMC) & Subject Matter Experts (SME), Develop and implement Knowledge Management Enhancement Programme amongst many other duties. I have gained valuable experiences in various trainings on records management, Knowledge management, Information literacy skills and document management systems. I have also published a Journal Article titled “Determinants of Knowledge Management Practices at Kenya Revenue Authority Nairobi, Kenya”
