Experience

May 2024- August 2024: Attachment (Laboratory Analyst)- Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) - National Plant Protection Institute in Kenya whose responsibility is to assure the quality of agricultural inputs and produce to prevent adverse impacts on the economy, the environment, and human health. During this time I carried activities such as;

  • Conducted inspections and laboratory analyses to ensure compliance to phytosanitary standards
  • Enhanced skills in laboratory equipment operation, sample preparation and documentation Learnt on pest risk analysis and field surveillance techniques.

 

May 2023-August 2023: Cyber assistant - Chaka Cyber Services.

  • During this time I provided range of essential support to cyber services including:
  • Created and designed photos and poster making for various customers
  • Developed creative written contents such as eulogies and public announcements
  • Assisted clients to apply online government services
  • Guided students to learn fundamental computer skills.
