With more than 7 years experience as mechanical technician and production supervisor. I am adapt in diagnosing production equipment problems, optimizing productivity of machinery and training line workers on correct settings and job experience ha afforded me a well-rounded skill set , including first-rate of analytical and technical abilities and I Excel at a cost control ,safety compliance and inventory management.
I am a multi-skilled self-driven professional with the ability to plan, coordinate, work and lead teams in achieving production targets within the desired timelines and aaalso a team player.
Coming from a technical back ground, I have a versed knowledge in faults diagnosis, trouble shooting of machines and equipment, repair, service, planning and execution of both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. This makes me stand out as a valuable and immediate asset to the team


May 2022 to Present: Mechanical maintenance Technician Mabati Rolling Mills Limited
Ensure and follow on autonomous maintenance operations of machines, machine housekeeping & both major and basic maintenance procedure and carry out schedule shutdown (SSD) activities.
Ensure effective implementations of continuous improvement system and adherence to ISO system
Advice on motivations for machine optimal operation and maintenance
Carry out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to various types of machines.
Perform power factor correction.
Maintain work log repair and maintenance records.
Repair and servicing of production support tools and equipment such as pneumatic tools,air compressor and overhead cranes.
Attending machines breakdown as soon as possible in order to reduce machine downtime hence optimize machine availability and increase machine efficiency.

Track and check MTTR (mean time to repair) and MTBF (mean time before failure|) for all equipment

Maintain Safe & clean working environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment and resources.
Carry out maintenance of mechanical processes in a manner that will ensure highest reliability
Maintenance planner and scheduler
