• Install, service, maintain and repair generating sets, in compliance with recognized standards and regulations pertaining to safety and installation codes. 
• Diagnose technical faults and carry-out remedy for malfunctioning on generators and installations. 
• Operate a wide variety of tools and power equipment including saws, drills, common workshop machinery, voltage testers, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, welding/soldering equipment and other tools and equipment. 
• Perform diagnosis on generator using electronic service tool
• Perform changing and programming of controls, synchronizing of generators, connecting remote supervisory systems and test to verify its response and conformity.
• Synchronized power plant monitoring, operation, and maintenance
• Perform technical or other assessments of generating sets or buildings and prepare technical or other reports. 
• Apply and ensure adherence to safety programs related to the safe operation of generating sets or power tools and equipment associated with the task.
• Conduct in-house training to tradesmen and artisans on the imaging technical skills in the new installation of specialized equipment, fault finding and remedy. 
• Review and recommend approval of work orders and assign day to day repair and maintenance tasks to tradesmen and technicians under my supervision 
• Inspect and report on project and maintenance work carried out and ensure proper utilization 
• Read and interpret specifications and technical drawings, schedules, manuals for construction projects, installations and upgrade repair of infrastructure. 
• Inspect quality of work and performance of the task completed. 
• Maintain records relating to inventories, work orders and general correspondences 
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for generators maintenance programs and advise Supervisor of Unit
• Evaluates spare parts stock levels of each category of generators
• Provide inputs periodically for assessment of performance level of generators (efficiency) and advise management accordingly
• Basic knowledge on operation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC Units (Air conditioners, Chillers, and refrigerators.
• Basic knowledge on Solar PV Design and Installation
