I have noted your advertisement for the above named position with a great interest. I am a holder of a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Nairobi and C.P.A 2, currently working with Agricultural Development Corporation (ADC) as accountant but I am keen in taking up the position of Finance Officer-Disbursement in your organization.

Previously I worked as an assist regional accountant with same employer for seven years; I have solid grinding in extracting financial reports, posting data and general ledger reconciliations, budget preparation and revision. End month reconciliations including bank & petty cash. I had three years experience with Molo Potatoes project, where Ministry of agriculture funded.

I have gained experience in major areas of finance including timely reviewing of financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annual),assisting in procurement, processing of payments, ensuring payment vouchers are fully supported, before examination, verifications and approval, creditors reconciliations, Assisting the auditors in schedules, dealing with both internal and external auditors. Training and supervising accountants.

Over this period, I am quick leaner, in our system , we have been using sera system, working and co ordinating events .Hope to receive positive response
