Vincent Owino

I am a 25-year-old journalist with interest in business, technology and regional integration, skilled in computing and ICT, open for opportunities to serve humanity, learn, grow, and contribute to organisational and global development.

I have worked as a Business Reporter at the Nation Media Group for about two years now. In this role, I have been writing analytical business and economic stories for The EastAfrican newspaper, as well as other NMG print products including Business Daily, Daily Nation, among others. I have also worked previously as a research associate at Jubilee Insurance and as a Chairperson of Writers Guild Chuka.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Statistics from Chuka University, which gave me a solid foundation in economic and business thinking as well as a shrewd understanding of data-driven research and decision-making. I also have a post-graduate training in multimedia journalism from Aga Khan University, which equipped me with the skills to communicate information with precision and clarity using multiple channels.
