I am a Kenyan male aged 42 and currently working as Assistant Estate Manager at Browns plantation, Kericho ,Kenya and major roles include tea production(agronomy) and processing, training and development, research, appraisal of employees among other HR issues. In charge of RA/Fairtrade /UTZ Certification, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Land Use and Management from Makerere University and Master of Science in Soil Science degree from the University of Eldoret. Knowledgeable in agronomy of horticultural, annual and perennial crops, agricultural economics, livestock production, farm power and machinery project planning, implementation, coordinating/monitoring and evaluation, as well as community development as evident by attached transcripts. I have ability to develop research proposals, administer research questionnaires, lay out experimental trials, soil sampling & laboratory analysis, collect data and analyze using various techniques such as SPPS, STATA and SAS procedures. Can manage large group of large and small scale farming systems. Certified Internal Social Environmental System Auditor (ISO:19011 by Millennium Management Consultants Ltd (MM Africa), Rain Forest Alliance, Finance management with good understanding of biodiversity and Social monitoring strategies. Good in GIS and remote sensing including soil and area mapping.
