Hello,

My name is Venessa Achieng a recent graduate with Bsc Land Resources Planning and Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

I am a licensed EIA/EA expert with National Environment Management Authority(NEMA). 

I have worked with E4impact organisation that has partnered with Eni(Italy) hence I have experience with data collection survey and conversant with online data collection tools( Kobo Collect.)

I am computer literate with skills on Ms word and excel. I am also a licensed defensive driver(B light vehicle) and i have experience in sales and marketing.

I am passionate about networking with new people and making a difference in my community.

Experience

I was attached to the NEMA authority for three months and thereafter volunteered for six months (from Jan 2022- Jun2022) therefore skills on how to conduct a very comprehensive EIA/EA was acquired.

I have also worked with E4impact organisation on a contract basis for a few months and my tasks mainly were data collection and survey of farmers using the Kobo Collect tool. This enabled me to gain skills such as communication with government officials and community members. 

I had been employed with a bakery during the covid  pandemic and this definitely improved my skills with marketing, communication, baking and also money management.

Education

I graduated from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in July 2022 with Bsc in Land Resource Planning and Management.

I studied and completed highschool in 2016 with B- from Anester Victory Girls Nakuru.
