All i have always wanted is to grow to be a successful and experienced Digital forensic investigator ready to face challenges, use all my skills and training to benefit an organization for there is no greater satisfaction to contribute to the success of an organization.

CO-OPERATIVE BANK OF KENYA                                             August 2022 – Present.

SOC ANALYST TIER 1.

  1. Learning and understanding how to use the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) known as IBM QRADAR. 
  2. The creation of use cases that assist in finding information. 
  3. Triaging alerts that are flagged by IBM QRADAR. 
  4. Making rules that IBM QRADAR uses to flag offenses. 
  5. Fine tuning the rules for them to work better in QRADAR 
  6. Learning and understanding Ariel query language to help create use cases and filter out required information.
  7. Performing a detailed investigation of the offenses that have been flagged by IBM QRADAR and close them depending on their magnitude 
  8. Escalate Severe offenses to the L2 SOC Analyst or threat respondents to close the threat.
