Highly dedicated and dynamic accounting professional with over 20 years of experience, having worked in different organizations and recently worked as a Hotel Accountant at Alliance Hotels Ltd. I have significant experience in managing and overseeing the documentation of financial transactions and analyzing accounting options to orchestrate the smooth flow of accounting operations. Key Achievements:

  • Was able to control the cost. Unnecessary expenditure and fraud were things of past. End month report was always timely

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the hotels financial performance with substantial amount of revenue per year, examine operations cost and expenditure, performed data analysis, identify trends and reporting on any variance or issues 
  • Assist in the completion of all forecasts, annual operation, and capital budget to provide clear guidance for department to achieve targets 
  • Manage the month end closing process to ensure the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all journals posting, and reviewing the journals, review of P&L variance and prepare commentary on expense variances in monthly reports 
  • Review the operations and ensure all procedure and documentation are in order for the following sub – sections, General Ledger, payable, receivable and cost control 
  • Involve in general hotel operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall supervision of the accounting function and staff.
  • Prepared monthly accounts and management reports. 
  • Budgeted preparation and budgetary control.
  • Financial planning and control of company funds for optimum use of funds. 
  • Checked and authorized all invoices to ensure correctness approval and proper allocation. 
  • Payroll preparation, payment of salaries and related records.
