Tonny Wanjala

I am a third year student at Strathmore University doing Bachelors of Business Science in Financial Economics. I am required to do an internship which takes a three months. The internship is the help me acquire job experience and learn from professionals, this could also be an opportunity to create good relationships and work in the area of my specialisation. It is an opportunity for me to work hard and help the company achieve its goals.

I have acquired my experience through high school teaching as serving the community at Chelezo high school, Makueni. I am the financial director of Sunrise microfinance and welfare association, a youth group established in 2020 for university students which helps members to save and acquire loans. During my schooling in high school, I acquired leadership skills and interpersonal skills as the school captain.

High school education helped to know my capacity through good performance I had. University has helped me acquire soft skills in finance which I am ready to practise and learn more in the professional world before my final year in University.
