Dear all,

I am  and electrical engineer by training having studied Bsc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering for my bachelors degree. Am currently winding up an MSC in project management.

My strengths are in being result-oriented, dedicated and professional with over 15 years' exposure and experience in engineering practice, project management and training. Am also Known for being innovative, team player, inspirational and skilled at analyzing problems as well as developing solutions. Am dedicated and well able to work with other organizational staff in realizing corporate objectives.

My work experience spans from having worked with Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology ( KIST)- Kenya, Ministry of Roads and Public Works- Kenya as well as Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation ( REREC).

Worked as a lecturer / trainer at Kiambu Institute of Science and Technology ( KIST)  and Graffins college for a combined 5 year period. Areas of training included control systems, electrical technology, engineering mathematics as well as computer engineering.

Worked as an electrical engineer with the Ministry of Roads and Public Works for 5 years. Keys areas of engagement included Designing ( Based on AutoCAD) , documentation, tendering and supervising electrical engineering projects in building services including.

Worked for Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation ( REREC) for over 12 years. main duties included power lines designs,  Planning of resource requirements for power line design operations ,Budgeting and budgetary control for power line designs, providing leadership and guidance to staff in the design department ,Managing performance in order to achieve sectional targets, Ensuring that the projects/schemes are within the set budgets, Organizing and coordinating the preliminary and final projects estimates, Undertaking monitoring and evaluation of designs and making recommendations as well as Preparing preliminary projects design progress reports.

Msc Project Management  ( JKUAT) - On going. Done with course work and finalizing on project.
