Sylvia is a Sales professional with over 10 years of experience, being majorly in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and service. Sylvia is an aggressive, self driven, persistent and an achiever. i have a record of attaining and surpassing sales targets as well as having a great relationship with my customers.

My goal is to be in a position of influence utilizing my skills and abilities as i earn.

My 12 years’ experience in the Fast Moving consumer Goods (FMCG) industry has prepared me with the skills I need to thrive in this role. As you will see from my resume, the experience from Mars Wrigley Confectionery provided a unique opportunity for me to gain practical experience with customer service, persuasive selling, identifying new market opportunities among others. This has given me learning at firsthand how to effectively deal with customers and their demands. Some of my key highlights include: achieved sales growth of 30% through recruitment of new wholesalers; effectively managed a sales team of 5 bikers and 12-foot soldiers to deliver sales targets; recruited 45 new wholesalers and supported their development. To date they contribute 20% of Nairobi business; I was also ranked the best Field Sales Rep in Nairobi who consistently achieved set KPI’S. This is in addition to achievement of perfect store concept in all my outlets.

I have also worked at East African Breweries as a Trade developer and brand ambassador, delivering high customer service, training sales crew on persuasive selling, marketing and selling premium and reserve brands, identifying new market opportunities among others.
With the above experience I have gained skills in customer service, business planning, analytical skills, Persuasive selling and sales administration.
 

I Graduated in 2010 at Kabarak University with a second class upper division in Bachelor of Commerce Marketing option.
