Professional experience 
I have a taste of export fresh produce firm 6-month experience at Simba fresh produce in the following departments.
Land preparation department: key responsibilities delegated as
Identify field blocks that are not in production and plan on preparation
Plan for 1st harrowing, chisel/mould ploughing, 2nd harrowing and bed raising and also application of rotavator in advance.
Making of proper drainages in accordance to the land gradient to keep away unnecessary water from the field
Key achievements in land preparation docket
I was able to plan for at least 10 blocks ready for planting in 24 hours 
I was able to have both day time and night shift land preparations activities
I was able to identify and plan for land preparation equipment repair and service regularly

Green house harvesting supervisor: key responsibilities and achievements were 
Coordinate with the packhouse in getting the opening stock of the inventory
Coordinate with the marketing department on getting the clients quantity of existing orders each day
Scouting on the quality of the fresh herbs scheduled for harvesting to ensure quality assurance is upheld 
Ensuring all the protocols and procedures of harvesting are observed by the harvesting team
Weekly projections on green house quantity of produce to assist the marketing department take achievable orders 
Ensure I fulfill the quantity gross orders of produce and ensure even with the lowest percentage pack out the orders does not short and even work beyond working hours.
Field grading of the produce to ensure quality product are taken to pack house
Record, update and maintain all the basil produce records of the houses produce. 
Vegetable field supervisor: key responsibilities were and achievements.
Timely identification, plan and carry out weeding practices on all vegetable blocks.
Ensure quality weeding practices are done by the weeding team
Plan for timely application of herbicides on vegetable blocks and follow up on the effectiveness of the herbicides.
Timely application of top-dressing fertilizers and foliar on vegetable blocks in assistance with the senior agronomist of vegetable
Carrying out planting practices and follow up on germination percentage and gapping practice
Irrigation manager: key responsibilities and achievements were,
Plan on drips installation on ready blocks planned for planting/ transplanting
Timely repairs of the offtakes and drips repair flashing of drips and pipes prior before planting.
Plan on irrigation programmers in accordance to the plant needs 
Ensure all germinating, harvesting and vegetative crops get enough water 
Installation of irrigation systems on new blocks and piping with PVC and HDPE pipes
Ensure pipes repair are done in case of leakages
Ensure all pumps are effectively managed and operated
Keep proper records on the irrigation department.
