Currently I am the Manager –Administration and facilities at RAFIKI MICROFINANCE BANK
Role: The overall responsibility of this role is to programme, coordinate and oversee maintenance of all the assets and facilities of the bank based on approved SLAs and the bank’s policies and procedures; to foster business continuity across the bank networks and strike a balance between quality and cost.
KEY SKILLS
- 10 years of using computers; advanced knowledge in MS office, Databases, spreadsheets, email and internet facilities.
- Proficient skills in AutoCAD/Arch card
- Government trade test license body (Energy Regulatory Commission) – (Grade C1 Electrical installations) Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, decision-making, reporting and accounting skills.
- Report writing skills – Preparing comprehensive documentation for projects handled.
- Organization skills - Organized a number of successful Health and Safety discussions.

Experience
I am a Kenyan citizen aged 44 years, Christian, married and possess a dynamic educational background on electrical engineering coupled with numerous dynamic skills and experience of more than 10 years in property and facilities management acquired while working for the following different companies and organizations among them; Wells Fargo security company - technician, The Nairobi hospital - surveillance officer, BAT (Factory) - risk management controller , Jubilee Insurance company – Senior Property Caretaker , M-KOPA SOLAR LTD as a facilities manager,Northcorte apartments –facilities manager and currently at Rafiki Microfinance Bank . Essentially i bring on board the following features listed below to assist the project and facilities section realize cost effective service maintenance, prompt effective scheduled preventive service maintenance, alignment of the functions to the company procurement policies, documentation data management for easy reference and compliance to the health and safety legislations.
