Stacey Labuschagne

I am a South African living in Kenya working at a Big 4 audit firm. I have been in the firm for 10 years now. I am a chartered accounting (South Africa) and have a postgraduate degree in the Theory of Accounting. I have been living in Kenya for 4.5 years. I have a large portfolio of small to large size audit client and have experience with working with audit clients throughout East and Southern Africa.

Outside of work I enjoy Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting.

I am an audit senior manager. 

• Specialising in the Energy, Utilities and Resources division of assurance in South Africa and Consumer Industry and Services in Kenya.
• Building and enhancing client and team relationships.
• Coaching, appraising and mentoring of staff members and assisting with completion of SAICA and PwC documentation.
• Reviewing of audit work and ensuring that all risks have been adddressed and tested in accordance with PwC methodology and IAS.
• Review of Financial Statements to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards and relevant Company’s Act regulations.
• Preparation of reports and presentations to client management teams and group engagement teams.
• Assisting with the mentoring and career development of coachees.

I am a Chartered Accountant (SA) and have a post graduate diploma in the Theory of accounting and an Honours degree in accounting sciences.
