I have had good experience by working at the accounts office in TAVEVO WATER AND SEWERAGE COMPANY LTD in Voi for a period of three(3) months while undertaking  my field industrial attachment.

During my time at TAVEVO I acquired the following knowledge:

·        Filling of KRA Returns.

·        Generating and remittance of statutory deductions.

·        Posting of invoices and raising of payment vouchers.

·        Receipting of receivables.

·        Monthly Bank Reconciliation.

·        Generating of withholding VAT and withholding Tax for KRA.

·        Raising of imprest warrants and processing.

I had also  the opportunity to do my internship at BIMAS KENYA LIMITED which ended on 3rd july 2023  and I was assigned the following duties;

-          Outreach and promotion.

-          Attending group meetings.

-          Loan recovery.

-          Documentation at group level i.e passbooks, constitution, minutes and other related records.

-          Confirm accuracy of loan repayment schedules, deposit slips and other documents presented.

-          Confirm the collected savings and loan amount have been deposited with the bank.

-          Address queries from prospective and existing clients effectively and/or refer them to the relevant officer.

-          Exercise due courtesy when dealing with our client.

Diploma in Banking and Finance at The Co-operative University of Kenya  from 2019 to 2021.
